DigiLocker, also known as DigitalLocker is an application that has been developed by the Government of India under the initiative of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India project.

1) No More Photocopies and scans: Digital Locker India is an application that helps every Indian citizen to have all kinds of applications filled and submitted along with his e-signature on the documents to validate his documents. Self-attested photographs, forms and documents can now be safely shared by the applicants through DigiLocker.

2) Filling up Online Forms with E-Signature: If you need to get your applications filled online with e-signature then using the Mobile OPT or Biometric device, the signature can be electronically transferred on to your online document with ease.

3) Cloud Storage of Valuable documents: The app allows you to store all your valuable documents online and along with your e-signature. This means that whether you need to show your documents while on the go, you need not have to rush to get the original documents’ courier to you or sent by photocopy or scan anymore. How to Access DigiLocker Mobile App?

DigiLocker mobile application can be downloaded from Google Play store. This application will allow you to register with your mobile number to store soft copies and e-documents.
Through this mobile application you can access the web application pages directly using menu. Additionally, you can add bookmark of additional web pages and manage them under “Bookmarks” menu option. This mobile application also provides the facility to connect with DigiLocker through various social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and YouTube.

Through this app, you can now freely apply and upload your documents such as Aadhar card, PAN card, Passport, Ration card, Voter ID card, Telephone bill, Electricity certificate, Water bill, Degree certificate, OBC certificate, Driving License and many more.
